What is a trimester schedule?

A trimester schedule is one that divides the year into three equal academic time periods: Fall, Spring, and Summer.

What are the Summer 2008—Spring 2009 course instruction dates for each trimester?

Summer 2008 trimester:
May 12—August 22
Fall 2008 trimester:
September 8—December 20
Spring 2009 trimester:
January 12—April 25

What are the advantages of a trimester schedule?
- Advising available from faculty year round
- More flexibility in planning course schedules
